Futurism for Business
A one-day course for leaders, marketers, managers, strategists and consultants
Futurism for Business is a one-day strategy workshop for leaders and managers, those who advise them, and those who aspire to. Over the course of the day you will learn to understand the current era of High Frequency Change, what this means for your organisation, and practical tips about how to respond.
The course is based on The Applied Futurist’s Toolkit, a suite of tools that I use in my consulting work with global brands, and public organisations. Key highlights include:
- Understanding acceleration: does change really happen faster now?
- Seeing beyond: how to break out of your organisation’s restrictions
- Key change trends: the five ways our working world is being transformed
- Pressure points: where will change impact your organisation first?
- Priorities and strategy: building a response
The course is priced at £500+VAT per person and includes 6 months access to the Applied Futurist’s Toolkit online. It runs from 9:30 to 16:30 and rotates between venues in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
To book your place, fill out the form and we will be in touch to confirm details. If you’re interested in the course and can’t make it, get in touch. There will be more dates throughout the year.
Here’s what previous attendees have said about the course:
“I enjoyed the day immensely and picked up some great tips and techniques to help me apply futurism in both my own role and across the business. The discussions and examples around the slide deck were invaluable.”

“I enjoyed the workshop very much. Specifically, I thought the examples (cultural shift = Automobiles/Domestic Automation and now emerging technology) were very valid and put immediate challenges such as Brexit into context.”
Max Trebilcock – MESM
“The workshop was great, it flowed really well and as expected Tom was really knowledgeable in this area. Would highly recommend the course.”
Andy Johnson – Brother UK
