Lidl demonstrates extreme performance with Social Media award win

Lidl took the Grand Prix at 2015’s Social Media Communications awards with its incredible connection of social media intelligence to merchandising – and vice versa.

Within minutes of Zayn Malik leaving the band, the company had knocked one fifth off the price of One Direction merchandise and promoted this out to fans via social networks.

That’s an impressive demonstration of high performance.
