Dough: my new show/podcast for the BBC

How about a brand new podcast that you have already subscribed to?

OK, not all of you. But I'm sure many of you will be familiar with Sliced Bread from Radio 4, the podcast that looks at the bold claims of new products. Are they really "the best the best thing since..."?

Now there's a new podcast from the same stable, and it's in the same feed, so many of you will already be subscribed. And it features... me!

When I said I've been busy recently, this is one of the things that I've been working on, with the excellent Sam White as host and the wonderful team at the BBC.

While Sliced Bread looks at new products, in Dough we look at the ones that have been around so long, they've faded into the background of our lives. But they're still big business! Fridges, irons, hairdryers and more.

In each episode we take a look at the past, the present, and the #future of these products, and speak to real experts from inside each industry.

The first episode just went out on BBC Radio 4, and it's live now on the BBC Sounds app and in your podcast feeds.

If you already love Sliced Bread, just do nothing - you're probably subscribed already! But if not, go have a listen!
